megan gwynn. ‘pixie’. 19. district x resident. born and raised in abergylid, wales, she moved to new york when she was eleven, where her mom accepted a job teaching at columbia university after her father's ill health from working in the mines prevented him from keeping down a job. his growing alcoholism eventually destroyed their marriage, and megan's mother divorced him and took the kid into the city, where megan promptly went wild due to emotional problems and poor supervision. when she turned thirteen, her wings grew in, and she became a pariah at school. she was sixteen when she dropped out and ran to district x, where she took on any number of jobs to make ends meet — most notably, by selling the hallucinogenic ‘pixie dust’ her wings regularly shed. she's since become a staple of the community, with her distinctive pink hair, black eyes, and insectoid wings.
